Quite a pretty wine, red fruits bound from the glass with tremendous zeal.
In the mouth it doubles down delivering dark cherry and some plummy pleasure. Some char from the oak plays a neat role but is by no means out of sync. The fruit coats the mouth in a dancy and joyous way yet you get a sense there is a focus and determined aspect to its personality. A dusty rub of tannin caps things off beautifully. A thoroughly enjoyable Yarra Valley Pinot Noir.
