Tobacco leaf and cigar box sit in the driver's seat. Bay leaf and thyme add further intrigue with a faint mintiness. It lands on the mid-palate and just sticks. Drying tannins sap moisture. Time in the glass shows some leather, black olives and blue fruit.
Good to go now but it will develop nicely with some bottle age.
