Santolin Wines Il Capo Cosa Nostra 2017

Not your usual bed fellows but this blend of Nero d'Avola and Sangiovese works quite well.

An earthy wine, licks of blackberry jube sweetness binds itself to dark cherry and some plum fruit. Drying out gradually as it rolls through the mouth, sour cherries chime in as it gains some momentum in the mouth. Dusty tannins point this towards an easy wine to enjoy with a casual meal

Drink to five years.
