A wonderful Coonawarra Cabernet. Still a little coiled, this will sleep comfortably for many years to come.
One barrel of 380 bottles was produced. A terrific delivery of black fruits, cassis, cigar box and leather. It has a "come hither" presence about it as it woos you oh so charismatically. Bay leaf and olives slide in later with time in the glass. A curious undertow of menthol lurks within. The width and balance is hard to ignore. Winemaker Andrew Seppelt is really cranking up the dial with this latest set of new releases. Superb!
