A cracking Pinot Noir. Dylan McMahon lands another killer blow.
This Pinot possesses a magnetism that keeps drawing you back. Soft red fruits are highlighted by strawberries and sour cherries with a fine minerality and meaty edges. Find me that meat board and quick - what a perfect match. Some momentum builds steadily and lands in the mid-palate. A slight red apple crunch is an added bonus with what seems a squeeze of lemony tang bringing the mouth the water. That will all settle with bottle age and more of those meaty and savoury characters will come out and shine I suspect. Quite a beautiful thing. Big love for this.
Drink to five years.
