Ravens Croft's debut Nero d'Avola release made in the Joven style.
Quite a joyous wine, this just helps transport you to your happy place. You get a sense it struts in its dancing shoes and will shirk at nothing to find the beat. Juicy red fruits skip about with a lashing of red plums. Sourced from the Chalmers Vineyard in Victoria due to the uber challenging 2020 Granite Belt vintage, a smattering of dried herbs and exotic spices cling to a long finish screaming for pizza and pasta dishes. But to be sure, that chacuterie board on a cool afternoon wouldn't stand a chance.
Drink to three years.
