Flirtatious. Clever stuff from the Granite Belt Chardonnay Maestro that is Peter McGlashan.
A slightly different approach for the 2019 has delivered some wonderful textural feels and just the right amount of tension to enthuse. There is a delicate oak presence and subtle butter creaminess. Barbecued nectarine and touches of fig entice with a faint raw cashew presence. The fruit is coiled around the mid-palate and pushes out to a respectable length. Wonderful drinking.
Drink to five years.
