A lighter Grenache Mourvedre Syrah blend from Kilikanoon's Small Batch range that packs some punch late with a rush of peppery spice.
Juicy and baked raspberries and red plums are the main players but they are on the leaner side of medium bodied. Drying with chocolate, shimmers of earth and pan juices, it is a wine with a respectable length. That pepper keeps tapping away and doesn't release its grip. It would make for a handy barbeque or burger night wine.
