Like a silk sheet of sheer beauty, this Larnook Grenache is brilliant.
From vines planted in 1922, it glides and waltzes with absolute ease. Raspberries and red currants dance unabated. Devilishly moreish, I just want to bathe in it. A flicker of orange peel rides beside sour cherries with a touch of earthiness play a neat tune before a fine rub of spice curls around the mouth offering a lengthy and memorable finish. Quite Pinot-esque in its fruit driven and elegant presence, this is an excellent wine and one that will bring nothing but sheer joy.
