Putting this Larnook Picpoul in a Riesling bottle was a very good decision because it comes across like one.
Energetic lime and lemon aromas spring from the glass with sea spray hot on its tail. These flow through to the flavour profile bringing some cut cucumber, a minerally vibe and some saltiness. A fine sheet of texture coats the mouth leaving a talc like feel in its wake. Crisp and cleansing to close, this can match whatever you'd have with a Riesling - simple!
