Find me a better Pinot Noir for $35. At a competitive price point, this Main Divide Pinot Noir from the team at Pegasus Bay rises to the fore with its generous delivery, silky feels and moreish spicy finish. Find this.
Sourced from six vineyards around the North Canterbury region including some fruit from Pegasus Bay's estate plantings, this sees one and two year old French oak (10% new) for just over twelve months.
Dense plums, black cherries and black fruits consume the mouth. Waves of delish wash through relentlessly with a silky caress. Some red fruits rise up with time in the glass as tilled earth, sauteed mushrooms, pan juices, salami and handfuls of spice ripple throughout. A little smokiness chimes in late but there is no denying the persistence and incredible moreishness. Brilliant value. Go here.
