An interesting Cabernet Franc from Terre à Terre Crayères that looked much better with some time to breathe, and that certainly helped its numbers creep up.
My first impression was that the left hand wasn't talking to the right. The tense acid and the tannin profile didn't quite mesh but that all changed a day on. Scents of tomato bush and tomato paste muse with red capsicum. Juicy blackberries, cloves and plums fold over one another with shards of dark chocolate with a smattering of dried thyme that adds a herbal influence. Maybe a little more bottle is the remedy? Be patient and it will rise up as I found.
