A non-vintage sparkling from the budget-friendly Rockbare Click 99 range.
There is an energetic fizz bursting from the glass with a respectable mousse. Aromas of croissant pastry, lemon zest and green apple are the best of this wine. The palate is quite muted and sedated, lacking personality. Sure, there is a creaminess and a persistent finish, but the flavour is no where to be seen and I feel like I'm screaming down a tunnel. I'd prefer others.
