Yet to hit the shelves, hunt down this debut Bianco from Indigo Vineyards when the time comes. It's thoughtful, textural and utterly delicious.
A gorgeous fine copper blush catches my eye and is derived from 85% whole bunch pressed Shiraz. Add some Pinot Grigio pressings (10%) and a splash of Viognier (5%) and this left field blend works a treat.
A riot of interest awaits. Think poached pears, rhubarb, cinnamon quills, brown nashi pears and golden apples. Wonderfully fragrant, the aromas flow gracefully to deliver a delightful mouth perfume. Fine textural detail reaches through the palate leaving green tea-like tannins to consider. Lengthy, moreish, what a beauty!
