Texture lovers, throw this funky Fitzroy and Brunswick wine bar material into your glass. This Death by Semillon from Usher Tinkler pushes a few boundaries and stretches the curiosity factor in a big way yet ups the drinkability. It's great stuff.
Preservative free, it sees three months in seasoned French oak and is bottled without fining or filtration. Yellow flowers, apricot nectar, orange peel and candied orange. A flash of dehydrated pineapple with sheets of textural pleasure to consider. A wine with great width through the mouth as it rolls about with ease, Mediterranean tonic feels sit long and have the last say. A big thumbs up from me.
