Almost water clear in appearance, this Boydell's Pinot Gris is sourced from the Hilltops region of NSW and has some crowd-pleasing appeal.
It opens with scents of little white field flowers before cut Pakenham pear, green apple and lemon juice dance through the mouth leaving a sherbety tang in its wake. The acidity has a zip and takes over the fruit but there is enough acid to cut through fatty dishes which is not something you'd normally see with a Pinot Gris. Find the right food match and you're set.
