A joyous glass of slurpable delish from Yalumba, this brand new Vat 11 hits the Grenache sweet spot and then some.
Silky, polished and draped in fine spices, it is bursting from the seams with squishy raspberries, baked strawberries, red currants, a flash of orange peel and a red apple crunch. Brown spices stretch out on a long finish with a fine band of sandy and black tea tannins reaching way into the distance. Gee, this is tasty gear. I could get dangerously comfortable with this, and perhaps I did.
