An easy, casual Cabernet that you'd be happy to see on the list at the local Italian restaurant. Its approachability certainly builds it's case.
A savoury and herby driven wine, think roasted peppers, tomato and basil pizza sauce, Bay leaf, chocolate, sage and thyme with some tobacco swooping late. Black currants and black berries keep things moving but it's that savoury profile that ensures everything is humming along. Good stuff and a reliable go-to.
Drink to five years.
