Five years young with plenty left in the bag, grilled capsicum, blackcurrants and blackberries seek your favour early. There is a leafy character that is quite overt early on before settling. With a dash of Merlot and a drop of Malbec (7% & 1%), touches of carob and dark chocolate add to the dark fruit frame. Cigar box and dried herbs rise up with time in the glass. Over a few days of tasting, the tension gradually released its grip and sheets of fine spice caress a long and persistent finish. It's a wine that will age comfortably. It's very well done/
