Levantine Hill Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

The previous release 2018 was a little bump in the road but it's great to see this Levantine Hill Estate Cabernet 2019 back to where it belongs.

Five years young with plenty left in the bag, grilled capsicum, blackcurrants and blackberries seek your favour early. There is a leafy character that is quite overt early on before settling. With a dash of Merlot and a drop of Malbec (7% & 1%), touches of carob and dark chocolate add to the dark fruit frame. Cigar box and dried herbs rise up with time in the glass. Over a few days of tasting, the tension gradually released its grip and sheets of fine spice caress a long and persistent finish. It's a wine that will age comfortably. It's very well done/
