Beautiful drinking, I could happily drain a couple of glasses. Another great release of the Soumah Hexham Vineyard Syrah.
Separated into whole berry and whole bunch ferments, it was then racked to 25% new French oak for eight months. Cherry wood smoke and char skip from the glass before juicy cherries, red currants, red berries and boysenberries go about their work to entice. There is a rustic presence of sorts as it dries out slowly. Pillows of sandy like tannins cling to a persistent finish. It's a great expression of Syrah.
