Friday night barbecue wine. What a tidy piece this is. Good fruit with the expected spice that Tempranillo brings, casual meals are calling.
Tense through the mid-palate, there is a concentration of dark fruit that lands like a postage stamp. Dark cherries, dark chocolate and cola are parcelled up by a fine shimmer of spice. Some blackberries emerge with time in the glass and it presents a respectable finish. I like it for its uncomplicated swagger and its approachability. Good stuff.
Drink to three years.
