A very different wine compared to the previous 2018, this Kyberd Hills Pinot Noir 2020 is more muscular and tense.
It smells of black soil and dusty road. Black pepper is littered throughout. Dried strawberries, plums and some black currant, its mouth-sapping dryness and tight give the sense that they just don't want to welcome you in. Some Negroni appeal slides in but that spicy detail steals the show. For the same money I'd easily take the 2018 or the 2021.
