From the Mason-Woodcarvers vineyard planted in 2001, there is still some primary fruit on show from lemons and lemon rind, but the time in bottle has elevated some golden apple characters. Pretty scents of citrus blossom aren't far from the action. Lemon myrtle and rosemary sprig frame the lemony fruit on the palate with a joyous acidity that shows a softer and rounded side to its persona but it still has enough punch to hold its form for the next stage of development. Great stuff.
