Brand and Sons Honeysuckle Riesling 2024

A new release for Brand & Sons, this is an off-dry Riesling that screams for a spicy Asian dish.

The name of this wine has been derived from the name 'Coonawarra' which was a local indigenous word for 'honeysuckle' which grew wildly throughout the region. There's today's trivia for you...

White flowers, green apples, toffee apples and lemon juice deliver an inviting introduction. Lemon cordial along with lime pith and zest fill the mouth. It's a Riesling with a rounded presence to taste frolicking about with ease. A lemony sherbet tang and a crisp finish have the final word. With 16 g/L of residual sugar, the balance and shape are impressive. Grab a glass and this will swallow up a spicy dish whole.

Drink to five years.
