This is a great Cabernet from Chapel Hill that won't break the bank. I really enjoyed its easygoing persona, so much so, it's the type I'd be more than happy to serve to my friends at a casual gathering.
There is a fabulous yin and yang tempo about its delivery with delicious and vibrant blackberries and black currants coupled with Bay leaf, dark chocolate and olive tapenade. Blackberry pie finds its feet with more time in the glass and adds a fabulous veneer to deliciousness. Fine, almost powdery tannins are scattered about drying out ever so slowly leaving a fine spice to consider. What a beauty!
