The Angullong Crossing Reserve Harriet is a blend of Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Montepulciano (40/40/20). With all the Italians coming together, just bring the porchetta and focaccia and you're set!
The vineyard sits 600 metres above sea level and this wine sees twelve months on French oak prior to release.
Silky feels make the first impression but the muscle from Sagrantino adds some grunt like a bouncer at the front door. Black plums, blackberries, red currants and dark cherry fruit muse with ease. Dark chocolate and cocoa like tannins dry the mouth ever so slowly. Dried herbs, fennel and some licorice add a neat shade of savoury pleasure. Sunday roasts with the family are the perfect match for this impressive blend.
