There is a lot to like about the composure and confidence this Oakridge 864 Winery Block Cabernet carries. It's in no hurry to reveal itself, so sit back and enjoy the ride.
Lifted blue fruits and purple florals set an attractive tone, leading into blackberries, mulberries and a licorice bullet note. There's plenty of detail here and I'm fixated. Dusty tannins slowly dry the palate and soft spices tap away through to a persistent finish. Given its youth, I suspect time will be its friend with a long future ahead of it.
