Oliver's Taranga Fiano 2026

The Queen of Fiano is in her wheelhouse here. Another excellent release from Corrina Wright.

A thrilling opening of lemon juice, Bickford's lime cordial, green apple skin, plus pretty scents of almond blossom and little white field flowers explode from the glass.

Wonderfully textural, Corrina has honed her craft due to her insatiable appetite for Italy and how this variety is handled in its region of birth, Campania. Dried sage, fresh basil, roasted pine nuts and lime juice build terrific momentum with a Mediterranean tonic-like texture drawing long and effortlessly. It's a wine that has the charismatic appeal to sip slow on its own as the sun falls from the sky, yet it will equally embrace an array of cuisines to heighten its appeal. You can find me by the pool, mind you, happily savouring every sip. This is excellent.
