A glass of pleasure awaits. I adore the simplicity of this Pinot Noir from Brangayne. It's not trying to be something it's not and it walks calmly and composed in its own skin.
Cherry fruit is met with some plums and a neat thread of earthiness. Fine spices nibble around the edges, lingering on close with a flicker of orange peel and apricot kernel. Some dried herbs rise up late, but I'm drawn to its luscious, silky fruit and its easy-going nature. This is Pinot Noir from the Orange district done well.
