There is no denying the consistency of these Hidden Sea wines. Be it the Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay or this Rosé, they nail the brief as approachable, crowd-pleasing wines at a good price.
This is a Rosé that delivers good drinking without the bells and whistles, and there is nothing wrong with that. Sometimes you need a reliable go-to to lean on.
Red currants, rhubarb, the white bit of the watermelon and cherry juice are all at play here. Add a flirtatious lick of red apple plus a cheeky creamy undertow to complete the package and you have a neat wine in your hand. Give it a chill and you're set. Thumbs up from me.
