Will Rikard-Bell hangs his hat on Riesling. With a knack for building texture, he has delivered a superb wine based on German and Austrian styles.
Employing some oxidative handling, a long and cold ferment was the goal and a Riesling that is precise and drawing a long bow is the result. Delicious with a green apple and lemon juice drive - the purity consumes you. Add pears and white fleshed stonefruit with ribbons of river stone and slate to up the tempo. The chalky and powdery finish lingers long but then a Jasmine and bath powder mouth perfume reignites things once more. Give me another large pour, please.
