Byrne Farm Shiraz Pinot Noir 2021

If you come across a Shiraz Pinot Noir you can bet your life that the winemaker has spent time in the Hunter Valley. For Jeff Byrne it was 20 years and this is his tribute to Hunter River Burgundy as it was once known. This take is absolutely smashable. Woah!

A 90/10 blend, both parcels were made separately before blending. Bright and delicious, the Pinot screams soft and dancy fruit with a bucket load of juiciness. Such pretty scents consume the nose - juicy red berries and red petals - don't let it stop. That juiciness is the vibe through the mouth with red licorice, a touch of orange peel with fine spices bordering the edges. So yum. So pretty. Winning!
