The first stop on my Orange adventure took me to the Slow Wine Co cellar door. A beautiful building in the historic town of Millthorpe, this was a great starting point.
Gewurztraminer is always an aromatic wine but this release was not overly expensive. Expected Turkish Delight, white flowers and scents of cut pear make a neat introduction. The palate is filled out by white fleshed stone fruit with lychees cutting a neat groove. An enjoyable wine that needs food by its side - think Malaysian or Thai.
