Known as the Red Blend, when you get a red wine that's as easy to throw back as this, it doesn't matter what the make up is. What a fabulous slurp this is from El Desperado.
A blend of Sangiovese, Tempranillo and Shiraz, so supple and appealing is the delivery that you just want to dive in. Dark red fruits with some Cherry Ripe appeal fold into five spice and some earthiness. Black pepper comes late but the mulberries and baked blueberries that drench the mid-palate are the highlight. Packed with interest, this is bloody good drinking. Bang the bargain drum hard!
