Fresh, fruit driven and vibrant, this is a great Pinot Noir from Colmar Estate.
Only seeing older oak is telling as the fruit shines. Dark cherries, flashes of plums and dark berries present a wine with good shape and a respectable length. There is a skip in its step as is moves about joyously. A wine you could sit beside and be content for some time, savoury herbs, dried leaves and some burnt orange emerge later with super fine tannins capping things off neatly. All up, it is a delicious, no fuss Pinot that is most enjoyable.
