Paler in the glass than expected, less new oak is used with this label. A wine with good texture and drive, dark plums, dark cherries and rhubarb deliver the highlights. Undergrowth and dried leaves add some savoury nuances but the fruit has depth with a long and persistent finish laced with fine spices. I'd happily have a glass.
