This Pipers River glides with ease. Earthy with delicate fine spices, tea tree, blood orange, fennel and apricot kernel slowly emerge. A little mint made a fleeting appearance before moving on. Plums, red cherries, rhubarb and cranberries drive the fruit profile. Its ability to glide with ease has me coming back for more. A flash of meatiness and dried leaves have the last word on a long and most satisfying finish. After a couple of days of tasting it showed it would age nicely. Big love!
