Byrne Farm Pinot Noir 2022

Orange Pinot Noir with some muscle courtesy of Byrne Farm. You know there is something special about the brand when other winemakers in the region commented to me how much richer Orange is for Jeff Byrne moving in to set up camp after 20 years in the Hunter Valley. Respect!

100% destemmed whole berry sees nine months in French oak. The depth of the mid-palate is captivating but that's the Abel clone talking. Blood orange and dried rose petals flank dark cherry fruit. It's hard to not admire the elegance. Twigs, undergrowth and fine spices drive long finishing with an impressive persistence. Quality Orange Pinot Noir right here.
